Life City: A Landmark Facade Above Sweden’s Busiest Road

This project was the result of a successful collaboration with Gatun Arkitekter for a prestigious facade competition initiated by the property owner. Located at Life City in central Stockholm, the competition sought a bold and innovative solution for a highly visible site atop one of Sweden’s busiest highways. The concept focused on creating a dynamic, rhythmic facade that would become an architectural landmark. Our joint vision emphasized transparency, material depth, and contextual harmony. Gatun Arkitekter’s winning design is now a key visual statement in the city’s ever-evolving urban landscape.

Project Description – Section 2: Visualization and Impact

Our role was to translate the architectural vision into compelling visual narratives that would capture both the scale and spirit of the design. Through photorealistic renderings set in different light and weather conditions, we highlighted the layered façade system and its interaction with the surrounding cityscape and infrastructure. The visualizations played a crucial role in the competition's outcome and have since contributed to the public identity of the project. The final built result stays remarkably true to the visualizations—an urban beacon at the edge of the E4 corridor.
